Financial Advice - Use this link to find a well qualified financial adviser with knowledge  of USS

TPAS - The Pensions Advisory Service is a non-profit organisation that helps people who have pension problems, complaints or disputes.

The Pensions Regulator - The Pensions Regulator is the regulator of occupational pensions in the UK.  Created under the Pensions Act 2004, they have wider powers and a new proactive and risk focused approach to regulation.

HM Revenue and Customs - HMRC has published Approaching retirement: A guide to tax and National Insurance contributions (IR121) for people who are close to retirement.  This replaces the previous Income Tax and Pensioners publication.

FSA - Financial Services Authority is an independent body that regulates the financial services industry in the UK.

UCU - University and College Union (Formed by the amalgamation of the AUT and NATFHE - The University and College Lecturers Union).

UUK - Universities UK.

State Pension Forecast - Obtain a forecast of your total state pension benefits.

The Pension Service - The Government's impartial pensions information site.

DWP - Department for Work and Pensions.

HM Treasury

National Association of Local Societies for Visually Impaired People - NALSVI is an umbrella type of organisation with 117 local societies for blind and partially sighted people with members all over the UK.  They provide services locally to visually impaired individuals, offer advice, information, specialist products, home visits, rehabilitation, social clubs and events.  NALSVI is split into 12 regions for administrative purposes and each region has a representative, details of which are on the website.  If you would like any help or advice please contact your local society via the website.
