In 2011 the company adopted the European Foundation for Quality Management's Business Excellence Model as its quality standard. This means the company will be following a multi-year programme to gain accreditation as a company formally recognised for excellence in 2014/15.
USS strives continually to ensure that the service provided to all institutions and members is of a high standard. To this end, target service levels are set on all aspects of the pensions operations department's service.
