Pensions scams – don’t get stung
Have you been contacted with a tempting offer? ‘One-off pension investments’, ‘pension loans’ or upfront cash are being used to entice savers to transfer pension benefits out of their existing arrangement. For most people the offers will be bogus and you will probably lose most, if not all, of your savings. As well as losing most of your savings, you may also receive tax charges of over half the value of your pension for taking an ‘unauthorised payment’.
A lifetime’s savings can be lost in a moment.
Check the facts before you make an irreversible decision.
