At its meeting on 1 February 2011 the USS Joint Negotiating Committee (JNC) considered the modifications put forward by the USS trustee board to the proposed scheme changes. In addition, the JNC considered a number of technical points relating to the preparation of the necessary legal amendments to the scheme rules.
The committee was unable to conclude its deliberations and the meeting was adjourned. It was agreed that the meeting will reconvene on a date in the very near future.
