If you haven’t yet registered for My USS, you'll need your member number – you can find this at the top of any recent emails from us, your personal email address, and your National Insurance number.

  • If you’re flexibly retired and are now looking to take more of your benefits, contact your employer. You’ll need to agree with them whether you’ll now fully retire or take another flex.

  • For any transfers in to USS made before 1 October 2016, these will be included in the total value of your Retirement Income Builder benefits shown in My USS. For any transfers made after 30 September 2016, these will have gone in to the Investment Builder, the defined contribution (DC) part of USS.
