Andrew became a Director of Universities Superannuation Scheme Limited on 1 August 2020. He’s also a member of the Investment Committee, Remuneration Committee and Governance and Nominations Committee.
Andrew is a Chartered Surveyor who studied at what is now London South Bank University. He spent 26 years with Church Commissioners for England, as Chief Surveyor (1994-2003) and then Secretary (CEO), before retiring in January 2020.
Andrew is currently Chair of William Leech Investments and Foundation Trusts, a charitable investment companies owned by five Christian charities. He was Chair of the CMS (Church Mission Society) Pension Trust between 2013 and 2018, and Chair of Trustees for the267project children’s charity between 2007 and 2010. In June 2020, Andrew was appointed as a trustee of Trust for London, an independent charitable foundation which aims to tackle poverty and inequality in London.
Andrew is an accredited mediator from the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution. In January 2020, he was awarded an OBE for services to the Church.
