Please note: Only active members currently paying into the scheme can access My USS.


PasswordYour USS member number is an 8-digit number which begins with the number 4 (e.g. 41234657). You will find this on any correspondence from USS.

If you can not locate your member number please contact the Member Service Desk on 0333 300 1043 or a member of the pensions team at your employer.

Email addressWe recommend you use a personal email address that you will always have access to i.e. not a work email.

If you are a member who also has (or had) an employer login, please register a different email address to your USS employer portal email address.

PasswordPlease note: Your password must meet the following criteria:

- Be 8 characters or more;
- Contain at least one number;
- Contain at least one lower case letter;
- Contain an upper case letter OR punctuation character;
- Must not be 'password' or contain any of the following 'p.ss', 'w.rd', 'pa.s', 'admin' or 'guest'.
