If you have already registered for My USS, you can log in here.

You need the following information to register for My USS

  • Your USS member number;
  • Your national insurance number;
  • An email address - we recommend a personal email address.

Please note: currently only active members (those currently paying into the scheme) can access My USS.

If you are a member who also had (or had) an employer login, please register a different email address to your USS employer portal email address

Where is my USS member number?

You will find your USS member number on the letter we sent to you. It will be an 8-digit number.

Please note: This email address will be your username. It may also be used as a method to contact you about important My USS updates. We strongly recommend that you use a personal email address. If you are a member who has (or has previously had) access on behalf of an employer to USS’s employer portal, you will need to register a different email address to your USS employer portal email address.

Please note: Your password must meet the following criteria:

  • Be 8 characters or more;
  • Contain at least one number;
  • Contain at least one lower case letter;
  • Contain an upper case letter OR punctuation character;
  • Must not be 'password' or contain any of the following '', 'w.rd', 'pa.s', 'admin' or 'guest'.

Please note: The answer to your security question is case sensitive.
